    Position Overview

Autodesk is accelerating the transformation of the built environment through industrialized construction (IC)—connecting design, manufacturing, and construction workflows to enable more scalable, efficient, and sustainable delivery models. We are seeking an Industry Strategy Manager, Industrialized Construction to support and advance Autodesk’s strategy in this rapidly evolving space.

In this role, you will translate industry insights, customer needs, and competitive dynamics into clear strategic direction and cross-functional alignment. You will operate at the intersection of industry intelligence, product strategy, and go-to-market execution, helping ensure Autodesk is well-positioned to lead in industrialized construction. You will also play a key role in representing Autodesk externally, contributing to industry dialogue and strengthening Autodesk’s position as a leader in this emerging category.

    Responsibilities

    Support Industry Strategy Development

    • Support the evolution of Autodesk’s point of view and strategic priorities for industrialized construction

    • Identify key market opportunities, segments, and use cases across the IC ecosystem

    • Contribute to strategic planning, including investment focus, prioritization, and market approach

    • Ensure alignment with broader Autodesk Industry Cloud and Forma strategy

    Generate Market & Customer Insights

    • Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging trends (e.g., modular construction, prefabrication, DfMA)

    • Engage with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to understand workflows, adoption barriers, and unmet needs

    • Translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for product, GTM, and industry teams

    • Monitor regional and global developments (regulation, supply chain, technology adoption)

    Enable GTM & Cross-Functional Alignment

    • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales to align on target segments, personas, and value propositions

    • Support go-to-market strategy development, including positioning, messaging, and solution narratives

    • Help ensure consistency between industry strategy, product direction, and GTM execution

    • Communicate strategic priorities, trade-offs, and dependencies across a matrixed organization

    Support Product & Innovation Alignment

    • Collaborate with Product Management to inform roadmap priorities based on market and customer insights

    • Help connect industry needs to product capabilities, including emerging areas such as AI and platform workflows

    • Surface opportunities for differentiation and ecosystem partnerships

Represent Autodesk Externally & Build Industry Credibility

    • Act as an advocate for Autodesk’s perspective on industrialized construction across the industry

    • Represent Autodesk at industry events, conferences, customer engagements, and partner forums

    • Deliver compelling presentations on industry trends, Autodesk’s point of view, and strategic direction

    • Engage with customers and partners to both share Autodesk’s vision and gather market insights

    • Lead and coordinate internal and external stakeholder groups to inform strategy, validate direction, and strengthen industry engagement

    • Contribute to thought leadership through speaking, panels, and collaboration with Marketing on external content

    Support Strategic Communication

    • Develop high-quality strategy briefs, frameworks, and presentations for leadership

    • Synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and actionable narratives

    • Support decision-making through structured communication and insight

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in strategy, industry analysis, product strategy, GTM, management consulting, or a related role

    • Familiarity with the AEC industry or strong interest in industrialized construction

    • Experience developing insights and recommendations that inform business or product decisions

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in industrialized construction, modular construction, prefabrication, or related domains

    • Background in software, SaaS, or platform-based business models

    • Experience working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales teams

    • MBA or equivalent advanced degree

    • Experience in global, matrixed organizations

    The Ideal Candidate

    • A strategic thinker who connects industry trends to business opportunities

    • Able to turn ambiguity into structured insights and clear recommendations

    • Comfortable operating across industry, product, and GTM domains

    • A strong communicator who can simplify complex topics for different audiences

    • Curious about how technology is transforming construction and manufacturing
