At MOOVX, you’ll work alongside curious, talented and collaborative people solving real challenges through technology.

    Description of the Role

The Project Manager will be responsible for driving the delivery of technology projects and workstreams end to end across cross-functional teams in engineering, product, quality assurance, and the business. Working directly with our client in the financial services sector and US-based delivery leads, you will lead meetings, build and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, manage risks, and keep key stakeholders aligned on technical and business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings proven experience managing IT or software development projects, working knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) alongside hybrid models, and exceptional English communication skills suited for daily executive interaction. 100% Remote position (aligned with US Eastern or Central business hours).

    Responsibilities of the Role

    • Manage the end-to-end delivery of technology projects or workstreams, aligning execution with business objectives, timelines, budget, and technical requirements.

    • Build, track, and maintain detailed project plans, milestone schedules, cross-team dependencies, and resource assignments.

    • Facilitate and run Agile ceremonies and delivery cadences, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives in partnership with engineering and product teams.

    • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and blockers; establish actionable mitigation plans and escalate critical items with clear analysis.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, leading presentations and regular status syncs in English with US-based managers and directors.

    • Track resource effort, forecast project delivery milestones, and report transparently on progress against commitments.

    • Maintain structured project documentation, including RAID logs, status reports, and decision records for audit readiness and governance.

    • Coordinate directly with QA and release teams to oversee testing cycles, release readiness, and successful go-live activities.

    • Foster continuous improvement across delivery workflows while adhering to client information security and compliance standards.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent practical work experience.

    • Proven experience managing IT or software development projects.

    • Professional English proficiency (B2+ / C1 level), with the confidence to lead meetings, present status reports, and draft formal documentation for US stakeholders.

    • Hands-on knowledge of Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban, as well as exposure to hybrid delivery frameworks.

    • Proven experience coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, product management, and business stakeholders.

    • Practical proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.

    • Strong reporting and data organization skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Solid background in risk management, RAID log ownership, dependency mapping, and milestone tracking.

    • Availability to work business hours aligned with US Eastern or Central time zones.

    • Legal authorization to work in your country of residence.

    Nice to Have

    • Project management certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).

    • Domain experience in financial services, payments, retail banking, or merchant environments.

    • Prior experience working within consulting firms or global financial institutions.

    • Foundational understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), software testing phases, and release management.

    • Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese in addition to English.

    What We Offer

    • Competitive USD compensation package.

    • 100% remote work opportunity.

    • Direct daily collaboration and visibility with US-based leadership and global teams.
