Responsibilities include analyzing business processes, workflows, data needs, reporting outputs, and system capabilities to identify gaps, recommend improvements, and support scalable, repeatable reporting solutions.

The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer may coordinate cross-functional project activities, support project planning, maintain action item logs, document decisions, facilitate stakeholder meetings, assist with user acceptance testing, validate report outputs, and support implementation readiness and change management activities.

In support of reporting and analytics needs, this role works with data from multiple sources to define required data elements, validate data quality, reconcile outputs, create or maintain dashboards, support recurring reports, and ensure reporting solutions provide accurate, meaningful, and actionable information for business users.

The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer begins to influence department strategy by identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, strengthen governance, increase automation, enhance stakeholder engagement, and improve the delivery of business intelligence solutions.
