We are well-funded, growing fast, and building a company that is changing the market — it will be challenging, fun and exciting.
    About the Role

As part of the Strategic Growth organization, this role supports sales efforts (new, upsell, and renewals) by acting as the key technical CRM and RevOps advisor. Moving away from traditional event logistics, you will demonstrate how native CRM integrations and the RainFocus Sales Module drive pipeline velocity, governed audience acquisition, and high-level business ROI directly to CROs, CMOs, and CRM Admins.

    Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Architect and deliver technical demonstrations of the RainFocus Sales Module to showcase ease of use and revenue ROI to C-level buyers (CRO, CMO, CFO)

  2. Map complex enterprise CRM workflows, including territory hierarchies, quota limits, and multi-level approval chains

  3. Address technical objections from Salesforce Admins and IT Security regarding OAuth scopes, read/write permissions, and data security (SOC 2 Type II)

  4. Transition technical client requirements to the services team via accurate pre-sales scoping and SOW creation, defining support vs. delivery task ownership

  5. Manage external relationships with technical buyers (RevOps, Marketing Ops, CRM Admins) to build long-term strategic partnerships

  6. Identify product gaps or custom data-mapping needs and coordinate directly with Product and Engineering teams to influence the roadmap

  7. Deliver competitive intelligence on digital signals and CRM integrations to drive account expansion

  8. Collaborate with Client Success and Support to ensure excellent service delivery post-sale

  9. Required Skills & Experience:
  10. 5+ years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, or implementation, with 3+ years specifically in CRM/Salesforce ecosystems (event industry experience is secondary)

  11. Deep expertise in Salesforce configuration, API push/pull sync dynamics, OAuth scopes, and data hygiene

  12. Experience presenting technical integration concepts and handling objections from C-level executives and technical gatekeepers

  13. Strong leadership skills to own the technical sales process and manage multiple enterprise deal cycles in parallel

  14. Experience creating detailed technical proposals, integration mapping, SOWs, and RFP/RFI responses

  15. BA/BS degree; willingness to travel 10-40%

  16. Personal Characteristics:
  17. The best candidates for this position will have strong chemistry and a culture fit within RainFocus. They are comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess the following qualities:

  18. Team-player

  19. Self-motivated

  20. Strong Communicator

  21. Success Measures

  22. Seamless alignment of client territory/quota structures with minimal integration delays

  23. Reduced friction and rapid security/CRM clearance from technical buyers

  24. Growth in Sales Module bookings and successful pre-sales to delivery handoffs

  25. Company:  RainFocus
