      The Opportunity:

      The Learning Systems Program Manager will be responsible for strategic projects at a business unit or enterprise level supporting Learning Systems initiatives. The individual will lead critical initiatives and efforts related to the Velera learning ecosystem, including the Learning Management System, learning design, and knowledge management functions, and serve as a consultant for the business on effective learning and knowledge deployment. Using systems design thinking and data analysis, they will develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of the organization, internal learners, and external clients. This includes the proactive planning, consulting, and deployment of system enhancements, compliance program, company system integrations, and other learning programs and processes.

      Day in the Life:

      • Lead critical initiatives and efforts related to our Learning Systems strategy; contribute to a comprehensive suite of learning services and support for the entire Velera community.
      • Proactively consult, conduct needs assessment and gap analyses, and make recommendations on appropriate learning and knowledge solutions that will meet business demands.
      • Use the learning management system and learning experience platforms to support training and development, using standardized methods and procedures for delivery, evaluation, measurement, and reporting.
      • Collaborate with content SMEs, Learning Experience Designers, Knowledge Management Specialists, and stakeholders to ensure learning and knowledge solutions are successfully deployed.
      • Research system functionality and recommend effective design and deployment of learning within learning systems; including new system functionality and rollouts.
      • Manage multiple, complex and technical strategic projects, deployments, enhancements, integrations, and system projects simultaneously.
      • Attain and master certification in technical support of learning delivery applications LMS, and maintain proficiency; this includes general programs and processes, systems, and tools that support learning delivery.
      • Serve as subject matter expert of our Learning Management System to provide guidance and direction for learning system projects, program, and portfolio management.
      • Relentlessly seek, share, and adopt ideas and best practices to ensure that team is current on learning trends and innovations.
      • Design consistent PM practices for project execution and provide ongoing support for project management process to ensure approved initiatives are completed in an accurate, effective, and timely manner; Ensure effective communication with both business clients and Learning & Operational Excellence management relative to the status of initiatives and any issues which may impede a successful or timely conclusion.
      • Lead, develop, and deploy the enterprise compliance program, working effectively with all stakeholders, recommending improvements, providing comprehensive reporting, and enhancing effectiveness.
      • Consult, create, enhance, and deliver meaningful reporting to leadership and the Enterprise for various Learning Systems initiatives.
      • Collect and evaluate key metrics to ensure solution effectiveness; share meaningful data with leaders and partners; Develop dashboards and visual data reporting to enable effective business decisions.
      • Design and deploy surveys and tools to measure learning solutions effectiveness.
      • Partner across Learning & Operational Excellence staff; partner and enable effective deployment of learning.
      • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and support of critical enterprise projects.
      • Identify, research, and implement system enhancements to drive adoption of organizational learning and knowledge systems.
      • Proactively lead and consult on process improvement projects within the department using effective Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
      • Lead department project initiatives using effective project management methodologies and tools.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Systems Design, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
      • Six (6) years of experience in learning management system administration, or learning and development fields required. Three (3) years of experience leading projects and/or project assignment tasks to ensure they are completed timely and within budget required. 
      • Lean Six Sigma certificate preferred.
      • Certifications in Learning or Knowledge Management, Lean, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, ServiceNow, and/or SharePoint preferred. 
      • Ability to understand and translate business needs into strategic solutions
      • Knowledge of current and emerging training tools and systems
      • Minimal travel may be required

      $67,700.00 - $86,300.00

      Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
