    Summary of the role 

    The position holder is responsible for developing and managing business with OEM customers within and south of the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy.

    This role focuses on building strong relationships, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction through value-based selling, technical understanding, and strategic account management.

    Role and Responsibilities 

    • Business Development

      • Grow business with existing OEM customers by deepening relationships (supplier to partner)  and expanding product applications.

      • Identify, target, and satisfy TOP OEM accounts in line with company strategy.

    • Sales & Account Management

      • Manage the entire sales cycle: offering, negotiation, closing, and after-sales support

      • Develop account development plans and forecasts to achieve sales targets.

      • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust sales strategies.

    • Collaboration & Coordination

      • Work closely with product management, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure OEM solutions meet customer needs.

      • Coordinate with Customer Service and operations to guarantee timely deliveries and quality service.

    • Reporting & Forecasting

      • Provide accurate sales forecasts, activities report, and pipeline updates.

      • Report key account performance, opportunities, and risks to management.

    • Customer Relationship Management

      • Act as the primary point of contact for OEM accounts.

      • Ensure long-term partnerships through trust, technical expertise, and proactive problem solving.

    Skills and Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA a plus).

    • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in OEM/Packaging/Automation.

    • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

    • Strong technical acumen and ability to understand customer applications.

    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

    • Experience with CRM and SAP tools and structured sales methodologies (i.e. value selling and  solution selling).

    • Willingness to travel regularly to meet with OEM clients.

    • Valid clean driving license

    • Fluent English language skills are mandatory

    Travel 

    • Yes, 80% of the time, in Northern and Central Italian regions.
