Financial Analyst II, who works under the direction of the Fiscal Operations Manager in the Department of Anesthesiology; provides primary fiscal support to the Department of Anesthesiology providing a broad range of basic and routine fiscal services; responsible for the system initiation of fiscal transactions including payment requests, travel reimbursements, expense reports, procurement card reallocation, and travel requests while ensuring all University and Med. Center, and Departmental policies and procedures are followed. Processes and tracks all purchasing transactions including procurement, travel and reimbursement requests (70%); provides feedback for updating internal policies and procedures related to CME; maintains records on purchasing and provides effective fiscal management and ongoing fiscal analysis; prepares budget projections relying on historical data; resolves discrepancies, problem-solves issues related to procurement and travel (5%). Enters all Faculty Leave into Workday and maintains spreadsheets pertaining to FMLA/CVU credit (5%); Ensures all supporting documentation conforms to the University guidelines; serves as point of contact to faculty and staff on appropriate fiscal procedures; maintains continuing medical education account balances (5
%); enters monthly supplemental pay transactions with great attention to detail and accuracy (5%); initiates requisitions for lead protection equipment for Anesthesiology providers, tracks same for quality control purposes; updates and maintains departmental C8 software and provider directory (5%); works as a team member to provide high level customer service to the faculty and staff ensuring processing is timely, efficient, accurate, and in compliance; participates in special projects and other duties as assigned (5%).
