Are you a detail-oriented IT governance professional who enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to complex processes? We are seeking a mid-level IT Governance, Audit & Operations Analyst to support IT audit coordination, reporting, budgeting, contract tracking, and purchase request processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of IT controls, analytics, finance operations, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate ITGC-related audit support activities, including tracking internal and external audit requests, following up with control owners, reviewing evidence packages, and escalating timeline risks as needed.
- Prepare and maintain monthly reporting packages covering audit health, budget health, production support metrics, trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
- Support IT budget processes by categorizing monthly cost center transactions, preparing reconciliation materials, documenting variance notes, and partnering with IT and finance stakeholders on coding accuracy.
- Build and maintain an IT contract catalog, including renewal dates, notice periods, vendor contacts, key commercial terms, and documentation readiness checkpoints.
- Manage IT purchase request support, including request submission, coding validation, documentation review, status tracking, and follow-up with approvers and requestors.
- Document recurring governance processes, maintain process playbooks, identify recurring gaps, and recommend practical improvements to reduce rework and increase consistency.
Job Requirements
- Mid-level experience in IT governance, IT audit support, IT operations, finance operations, procurement support, or a related business support function.
- Working knowledge of IT general controls, audit evidence requirements, internal/external audit coordination, or control documentation practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, recurring issues, process gaps, and improvement opportunities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, structured trackers, reconciliation templates, and reporting tools; exposure to BI reporting tools is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requests, deadlines, stakeholders, and documentation requirements with accuracy and follow-through.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with IT leaders, finance partners, control owners, auditors, vendors, and approvers.
