The CVS Sr. Principal Consultant is an experienced professional in Workday post-production, who is dynamic, fast-paced, and familiar with the Continuous Value Services (CVS) consulting practice. As a Workday CVS Sr. Principal Consultant, they will bring their technical skills, ability to keep the business context in sight, and a roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic to a team with a positive, can-do attitude, a collaborative culture, and a passion for helping our clients to be successful.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday Absence & Time Tracking post-production support activities including case management, lean-on support, troubleshooting, and small projects.
Support multiple projects and customers; remain flexible and reprioritize based upon customer needs.
Support Workday best practices towards tenant optimization and process improvement.
Execute the day-to-day activities of Workday Absence and Time Tracking support for a variety of client contracts in roles that may include staff augmentation, ad-hoc support, and project delivery.
Track issues and risks communicate status and escalate concerns to project management.
Configure the system to the customers’ expectations and requirements
Facilitate knowledge transfer and educate clients as requested on the Workday Absence and Time Tracking modules.
Provide subject matter expertise on Workday best practices.
Collaboration through knowledge sharing and mentorship; actively share product knowledge with others to grow our practice.
Master the art of “follow through.” Frequently update your Project Lead, Manager and Engagement Manager on timeline, tasks, risks, roles & responsibilities, tenant management, etc.
Proactively keep yourself abreast of Workday updates and project changes.
Seek out opportunities to further your skillset and professional growth.
Additional duties as assigned by manager.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Ideally 2-5 years of consulting experience.
Strong detail orientation, organization and analytical skills.
Strong aptitude for critical thinking and logic problems with a passion for problem solving.



Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $129,632 - $180,237 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program , based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
