  10. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  11. Strategic Quality Assurance Planning: Collaborate with the Technical Lead or Product Development Manager (PDM) to develop comprehensive test strategies and plans that support project objectives and timelines. Focus on implementing and optimizing testing methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness across testing phases.

  12. Test Design and Execution Oversight: Lead the detailed design and oversight of test execution, focusing on critical, high-impact testing activities. Ensure thorough coverage and adherence to quality standards, while efficiently managing resources and timelines.

  13. Automation and Process Optimization: Enhance and expand automation frameworks and practices. Identify opportunities for improving testing processes and automation coverage, contributing to the selection and implementation of advanced tools and technologies.

  14. Cross-functional Collaboration and Communication: Serve as a primary QA contact for development and product management teams, promoting effective communication and collaboration. Ensure that QA processes and results are transparent and integrated into the broader development lifecycle, aligning with the strategic direction set by the Technical Lead.

  15. Quality Advocacy and Project Management: Support the PDM in project planning and execution, taking ownership of quality assurance deliverables within projects. Mentor junior team members and advocate for quality standards and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

  16. Continuous Improvement and Knowledge Sharing: Actively participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes and tools, under the strategic guidance of the Technical Lead. Share knowledge and insights with the QA team, contributing to skill development and process refinement.

  17. Stay Informed on Industry Trends: Maintain awareness of new testing technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices. Share findings with the QA team and the Technical Lead, suggesting ways to leverage new insights for improved quality and efficiency.

  18. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  19. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.

  20. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance, demonstrating a track record of success in test strategy, planning, execution, and maintenance, including the creation of comprehensive test documentation.

  21. At least 3 years of experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, QTP/UFT), including advanced scripting for automation and the development of custom testing frameworks.

  22. Proven leadership in Agile and Scrum methodologies, with a solid ability to drive QA strategies within rapid development cycles and iterative testing environments.

  23. Expertise in continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipelines, with a strong understanding of how to optimize automated tests for efficiency and speed within CI/CD processes.

  24. Advanced proficiency in programming languages relevant to test automation (such as Python, Java, C#), demonstrating the ability to contribute to code base and automation scripts.

  25. Deep knowledge of databases and SQL, with experience executing complex data validation and interacting with databases for comprehensive backend testing.

  26. Proficient in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla), with a strong track record in bug reporting, tracking, and resolution processes.

  27. Exceptional collaborative skills, with proven experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, leading quality assurance efforts, and fostering an environment of teamwork and cooperation.

  28. Outstanding communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to team members, stakeholders, and customers.

  29. Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented, with proven ability to work independently and under pressure, managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.

  30. Required by the customer:

  31. ~7 years of hands‑on performance engineering or performance testing experience

  32. Strong proficiency with JMeter (test plans, correlation, parameterization, assertions, Groovy/Beanshell scripting, distributed load execution)

  33. Experience designing and executing load, stress, soak, spike, and scalability tests

  34. Ability to define and track performance metrics such as latency, throughput, error rates, and concurrency

  35. Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines, automated performance runs, dashboards, reporting, and work‑item tracking

  36. Good working knowledge of Git for branching, merging, pull requests, and repository management

  37. Strong experience with Application Insights, including metrics, logs, dependency tracking, failures, and KQL queries

  38. Familiarity with APM tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, or Azure Monitor

  39. Understanding of REST APIs, JSON payload structures, authentication, and use of tools such as Postman

  40. Working knowledge of Azure components like App Service, APIM, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB, autoscaling, and networking fundamentals

  41. Ability to prepare and manage test data, identify environment gaps, and work through technical dependencies

  42. Understanding of root‑cause analysis, telemetry review, debugging issues, and identifying bottlenecks across app, service, and DB layers.

  43. Organized and detail‑oriented with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

  44. Ability to produce clear performance reports with insights, charts, trends, and recommended optimizations

  45. Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, architects, DevOps, QA, and product teams

  46. Good communication skills to articulate findings, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical partners

  47. Self‑starter with the ability to take ownership of tasks, work independently, and proactively identify performance risks or improvements
