About the Role

As an Infrastructure Engineer at Hyland, you'll play a key role in designing, building, and implementing the systems and solutions that power our IT infrastructure. You'll serve as an escalation point for system and user issues, drive efficiency improvements, and help safeguard the security and integrity of critical company data. Your Role Responsibilities – Here's What You'll Do

• Design, build, and implement technology platforms and solutions in support of IT infrastructure; collaborate on best practices, standards, and processes for the design and administration of systems and solutions.
• Safeguard the security, integrity, and confidentiality of the company's supported systems and data; collaborate on and execute improvements to maintain and achieve a high security posture across the environment.
• Design and implement solutions for backup and disaster recovery; participate in the testing and execution of disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues and outages; perform problem-solving, root-cause, and post-mortem analyses to drive process improvements and prevent recurrence.
• Document the design, operation procedures, and troubleshooting of implemented solutions and technology platforms; compose training materials and conduct training sessions with stakeholders.
• Participate in audits of servers and the environment to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines; act as an escalation point for requests and issues related to systems and users.

Role Essentials

You'll need these skills to hit the ground running:

• Experience as a Systems Administrator with hands-on experience working with public cloud solutions, virtualization technologies, and server operating systems.
• Experience working with Citrix, NetApp, and Linux, with proficiency in Microsoft Windows or MacOS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good knowledge of systems administration and Microsoft Windows network environments, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact; strong customer service orientation with solid interpersonal skills.
• Good data gathering, interviewing, and analytical problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to perform root-cause and post-mortem analyses to drive meaningful process improvements.

What We'd Like to See

• Experience designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions, including participation in the testing and execution of disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to document system designs, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides; experience composing training materials and conducting training sessions with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience participating in audits of server environments to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally on best practices, standards, and processes for the design and administration of infrastructure systems and solutions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the role.
