As a Senior Auth0 Engineer, you will focus specifically on deep Auth0 architecture, optimization, and telemetry. You will evaluate existing custom databases and workarounds to design a scalable, long-term migration plan aligned with Auth0 best practices.

Position Responsibilities:

Minimize handoffs, accelerate delivery, ensure knowledge transfer, and maintain shared accountability.

Build new and maintain existing features by contributing across the full technical stack.

Debug and resolve production issues and implement fixes for them.

Add Auth0 operational telemetry.

Collaborate inside your team to solve technical and non-technical challenges.

Add discovery and target architecture.

Author technical documentation.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirement & Qualifications:

Experience:

4+ years of dedicated experience building, configuring, and securing enterprise applications specifically using Auth0.

Strong mastery of OAuth, OIDC, & SAML.

Experience with validating log streaming, end-to-end correlation requirements, key authentication and security events, session and token health signals, and alerting guidance.

Direct experience analyzing and modifying custom databases, custom user stories, and complex account-linking workarounds.

Experience writing and debugging custom Auth0 Actions, Rules, Hooks, or external middleware APIs.

Experience working effectively in a distributed, remote-first team.

Experience in the identity and access management (IAM) domain.

Preferred Education:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an IT-related field

IAM Technology-specific training/certification a plus
