    Role Summary

    The Senior Director of Product Development leads the strategy, development, and commercialization of innovative wire and cable products that support the company’s growth across telecom and multimedia solutions markets. This role oversees cross-functional teams responsible for designing, testing, and launching new products while improving existing product portfolios.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Define and execute the product development strategy aligned with business and market needs.
    • Lead regional engineering and R&D teams responsible for new product design and innovation.
    • Manage the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through testing, certification, and commercialization.
    • Partner with commercial, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure products meet customer requirements and can be efficiently produced.
    • Drive innovation in materials, performance, and sustainability in wire and cable technologies.
    • Oversee technical standards, compliance, and product quality requirements.
    • Manage product development budgets, resources, and project timelines.
    • Identify market opportunities and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
    • Develop and mentor technical leaders and engineering teams.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering, materials science, or related technical field.
    • 12–15+ years of experience in product development, engineering, or R&D, preferably in cable, electrical, or industrial manufacturing.
    • Proven leadership experience managing large technical teams and complex development programs.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product standards, and commercialization.
    • Ability to collaborate across global teams and translate customer needs into technical solutions
