    As Daniels Health continues to expand, we’re excited to welcome a Business Development Director to our team to oversee our New England market!
    This role is key to driving new business within the acute care market (hospitals), with a focus on growing our client base and strategically expanding our book of business. The successful candidate will take ownership of an existing portfolio, build relationships with key stakeholders, identify upsell opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction and performance targets are met.

    Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute growth strategies that align with defined key business metrics, in order to produce revenue growth, cost savings and profitability
  2. Focus on increasing the territory client base and expanding the regional book of business in order to achieve annual targets
  3. Formulate an effective customer call strategy to maximize opportunities within the territory, utilizing Salesforce as the primary Customer Relationship Management tool
  4. Travel within the designated territory as required to assess prospects and connect with customers
  5. Manage and retain relationships with existing clients and facilitate the transition of any new client connections across to the account manager to maintain day to day interactions
  6. Possess an in-depth knowledge of our full line of product and service offerings in order to present our value proposition to multiple levels throughout potential accounts
  7. Identify, map and match business strengths to the needs of clients.
  8. Prepare business proposals that focus on Daniels’ competitive advantage and value propositions to present to prospective clients
  9. Collaborate with our commercial team in the drafting and reviewing of client contracts
  10. Engage in contract negotiation with account prospects and existing customers
  11. Conduct market research for business opportunities and viable income streams
  12. Analyze industry trends (locally and internationally) to monitor the potential business impact
  13. Assist in portfolio management of current customers and drive upsell opportunities
  14. Produce reports on the territory successes and areas requiring development in conjunction with the Account Manager, constantly review all sales activities, targets, and strategies in order to maximize results
  15. Requirements
  16. 7+ years of industry experience
  17. Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  18. Experience with design and implementation of business development strategies
  19. Strong conflict resolution capabilities
  20. Proven ability to negotiate
  21. Hospital services or related service industry experience highly desirable
  22. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  23. Possesses self-motivation and the ability to motivate a team
  24. Strong presentation skills with value based selling confidence
  25. Outstanding computer-based skills; Salesforce.com, Microsoft Office, etc.
