Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise: Offer highly technical expertise and guidance in the design, implementation, operation, and maintenance of database management systems (DBMS).
Database Design and Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain complex databases, focusing on JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection, security, documentation, and statistical methods.
Product Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend available DBMS products by matching requirements with system capabilities.
Policy Development: Define required database administration policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines to ensure consistent and secure database management.
Presentations: Prepare and deliver engaging presentations on DBMS concepts to various stakeholders, enhancing understanding and adoption of best practices.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
