    Summary

    The SAP HCM Developer will support and maintain the existing SAP HCM on-premise system. This role requires extensive experience in ABAP development across PA, PY, OM, and BN modules, along with well-rounded technical expertise in SAP development. Experience with SAPUI5 development using Eclipse and familiarity with SAP HANA data platforms are highly desirable.

    Essential Functions

    • Collaborate with Functional Analysts to analyze requirements and provide accurate development estimates
    • Design, develop, and perform unit testing for system enhancements and fixes using:
      • ABAP
      • oData Services
      • SAPUI5
      • JavaScript
      • SAP Process & Forms
      • Workflow
      • Related configuration updates
      • CSS
    • Prepare and maintain documentation in accordance with project standards
    • Support changes throughout the development lifecycle, including:
      • Working with QA teams
      • Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed
    • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
    • Assess issue severity and escalate critical risks appropriately
    • Participate in extended support activities, including nights and weekends, as required
    • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

    Required Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
    • High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement)

    Required Experience

    • Minimum 5 years of SAP development experience using ABAP
    • At least 3 years of experience working with SAP HCM (HR modules such as PA, PY, OM, BN)
    • Well-rounded technical experience across SAP development components and tools
    • Experience developing and consuming SAP oData Services
    • At least 3 years of experience with ABAP Objects

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with SAPUI5 development using Eclipse
    • Experience with SAP Process & Forms (P&F) Framework and SAP Workflow
    • Experience with SAP SmartForms
    • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
    • Experience with BADIs, Module Pools, RFCs, and Reports
    • Familiarity with SAP HANA data platforms
    • Understanding of HR business processes including staffing, benefits, and payroll
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

    On-Call Expectations

    • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support production systems
    • Provide after-hours support, including nights and weekends, for critical issues
    • Respond to and triage incidents within defined SLAs to minimize business impact

    Salary Pay Range

    Minimum - Maximum:

    $80,150.00 - $148,850.00
