    Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain backend services for card payment processing using PHP (Symfony) and Golang.
  2. Integrate and support payment service providers (PSPs) and acquirers (Adyen, Checkout.com, JP Morgan Chase, etc.)
  3. Design and implement scalable, event-driven architectures for high-load payment systems
  4. Write clean, testable code with comprehensive unit and functional test coverage
  5. Optimize database queries and data models for OLTP workloads (MySQL, MongoDB)
  6. Collaborate with the team on system design, code reviews, and technical decisions
  7. Ensure system observability and troubleshoot issues using ELK stack
  8. Participate in CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment processes
    9. Qualifications & Skills:
  9. 3+ years of backend development experience with PHP and/or Golang in production environments
  10. Hands-on experience with card payment processing and PSP/acquirer integrations
  11. Understanding of payment flows: authorization, capture, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliation
  12. Strong knowledge of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean architecture
  13. Proficiency in SQL, database design, and performance optimization
  14. Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and caching layers (Redis)
  15. Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and their practical application
  16. Experience writing unit and integration tests
    17. Nice to Have:
  17. Knowledge of PCI DSS compliance requirements and secure payment data handling
  18. Understanding of 3D Secure (3DS) authentication protocols
  19. Experience with tokenization and payment security best practices
  20. Knowledge of Apple Pay and Google Pay integration principles
  21. Experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform
  22. Familiarity with ELK stack for monitoring and logging
  23. Previous work with high-load, mission-critical systems
  24. Frontend development experience with Angular
