    Raytheon is seeking a Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management, Material Program Manager (MPM) for the Naval Power Ship Systems Sustainment & Integration (SSIS) - AEGIS Program Area. This role requires direct supervisor experience and advanced/applied knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process, supplier management, project management, subcontract management and proposal activities. Typically viewed as a subject matter expert in multiple aspects of MRP, this role requires broad knowledge of financial, project and material management.

    In this role, you will apply your existing leadership experience in Supply Chain, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You will develop and lead a team of MPMs focused on material program execution and strategy/plan for the Aegis Production and Sustainment programs.  Additionally, you will participate in proposals, EAC forecasting, sales planning, and On Time Delivery reviews with your program and Operations counterparts.

    The successful candidate will have excellent team leadership skills, as well as written and oral communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas. This role will be customer facing, both internally and externally. You will have the opportunity to lead a strong team of experienced MPMs, budgeting and financial management, issue and conflict resolution. As a member of product team in a matrixed environment, you will frequently need to communicate at an executive level within and outside your function, using your ability to influence others outside of your immediate work area to explain gain alignment on plans, policies, practices, and procedures.

    What You Will Do:

    • Manage and lead a team of direct reports and foster talent development
    • Principles, concepts, industry practices and standards related to MRP planning systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle and other next generation ERP systems)
    • Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in supporting program needs and requirements
    • Master Data, MRP Scheduling and Material Sales Forecasting
    • Customer Proposal generation
    • Develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
    • Prioritize Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s)
    • Financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.); overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate the make/buy strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
    • May act as the Control Account Manager. Working at the front end of the business, the MPM identifies and secures Supply Chain resources to support the capture plan and manages the Supply Chain content of the proposal pipeline.
    • Maintaining/Assessing the integrity of the MRP environment and your programs’ schedule within that environment
    • Balancing supply and demand to create/maintain executable schedules
    • Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers
    • Generate and manage Estimate At Completion (EAC) and Risk & Opportunities
    • Willingness to Travel Domestically/Internationally, as required

    Qualifications You Must Have:

    • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
    • Experience with material requirements planning

    Qualification We Prefer:

    • Active DOD clearance
    • Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) through education and past experience in a manufacturing environment with the ability to provide creative and systemic solutions
    • Strong analytical skills required to evaluate end-to-end planning and identify constraints, risks and opportunities
    • Advanced Supply Chain Planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse)
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skillset (i.e. pivot tables, filters, advanced formulas, macros, automation, MS Office Integration, etc.)

    The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
