As a 340B Analyst, you will work closely with facility site technicians, monitor the 340B programs for 2-4 facilities (mix of 340B status and hospital size,) analyze data to identify problems and opportunities, prepare for and lead external and HRSA audits, and travel to facilities as needed (rarely required.) 340B, hospital pharmacy technician, claim analysis and auditing experience will be helpful in this role. This is a full time, remote position with hours of Monday-Friday from 8AM-4:30PM.

This position functions in a support capacity for the 340b covered entities. This position works with operations on reasonable and logical solutions in order to accomplish compliance. This entails planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of the system 340b program including related policies, procedures and processes.
CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Provides guidance and analysis of 340b/WAC/GPO purchasing at 340b Covered Entities within Banner Health (DSH, CAH, etc.).
2. Conducts on-site and table top audits, document reviews and interviews to ascertain facility compliance with standards, rules and regulations. Identifies and assesses areas of compliance risk. Documents findings and recommendations and prepares timely audit reports. Supports development and monitors completion of facility plans of correction.
3. Reviews, evaluates and assists in the development and implementation of system policies, procedures and guidelines as they relate to the 340b program.
4. Serves as a subject matter expert on internal and external standards. Provides education to address regulatory changes and gaps in regulatory compliance. Provides guidance and ongoing support to ensure understanding of 340b requirements.
5. Prepares, analyzes and reports compliance. Recommends improvement strategies and assists with the resolution of issues identified.
6. Maintains regulatory expertise by participating in continuing education opportunities, reviewing professional publications and attending educational workshops.
7. This position has multi-facility responsibilities, as well as involvement in system-wide regulatory activities. Internal customers include: leaders, physicians and all staff engaged in preparation, dispensing, ordering or administration of medications. External customers include: public regulatory bodies, surveyors and state and federal agencies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must demonstrate 3+ years of hospital and/or retail pharmacy experience or in depth knowledge of pharmacy operations. Must possess good organizational, problem solving and computer skills. Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. Must have knowledge of computer software, particularly medication management information system software, and Microsoft applications. Must possess a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy and be able to travel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Current pharmacy technician licensure in the state of practice (where applicable). Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification preferred.
AZ Board of Pharmacy Wallet Card (where applicable) preferred.
Ability to utilize pharmacy information system and vendor software effectively. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills preferred.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
