Become a part of our caring community

Humana is evolving how creative and content work is planned, reviewed, governed, and delivered across the enterprise. As Associate Director, Quality Assurance, you will lead the QA function that helps ensure work produced by both internal and external agencies is accurate, compliant, on brand, and ready for execution.

In a typical day, you may set quality standards, identify quality risks, guide review practices, partner with intake, creative, account, compliance, and operations leaders, and coach team members on standards that strengthen the consistency of our creative output. This includes helping teams reflect a unified tone of voice, uphold brand standards, and deliver work that feels cohesive, accurate, and ready for downstream execution. This role supports better experiences for members, patients, caregivers, and business partners by helping teams get the work right from the start.

The Associate Director, Quality Assurance leads the quality strategy, standards, and review practices that improve the accuracy, completeness, and readiness of marketing collateral. This role governs quality by ensuring work produced by internal and external agencies meets compliance, regulatory, accessibility, and brand requirements. The Associate Director partners across teams to identify defects early, reduce rework, strengthen compliance readiness, and improve the experience for stakeholders and delivery teams. Through coaching, reporting, and continuous improvement, this role helps Humana deliver clearer, more effective communications and experiences for the people we serve.

    • Partner with intake, account, creative, operations, compliance, legal, and business leaders to identify risks early and support compliant, on-brand work

    • Lead and develop a team of proofreaders, setting priorities, coaching for accuracy and consistency, and ensuring work meets quality, brand, compliance, and readiness standards

    • Monitor quality trends, recurring issues, and risk indicators; translate insights into process improvements, training, and leadership recommendations

    • Guide team members and cross-functional partners on intake expectations, quality criteria, governance practices, and continuous improvement opportunities that improve speed, clarity, and accountability.
