Position Summary
gener8tor is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to join the Business Development team and support the growth of our Skills workforce programs.
This role focuses on identifying, developing, and closing partnerships that fund and support gener8tor Skills programs. The Partnerships Manager will build relationships with employers, corporations, workforce development agencies, foundations, and economic development organizations, while moving those relationships toward formal funding commitments and program partnerships.
The ideal candidate is both a relationship builder and a deal closer, someone who enjoys meeting new partners, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and confidently moving opportunities through the pipeline to signed agreements.
This individual will report to the SVP of Business Development and work closely with the Skills leadership and program teams to ensure strong alignment between partner needs and program delivery
Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and close partnerships with corporations, employers, workforce development agencies, foundations, and economic development organizations.
Build and maintain a pipeline of potential partners who can support Skills programs through corporate sponsorships, philanthropic funding, or workforce investments
Lead the full partnership lifecycle from prospecting and outreach through negotiation and closing agreements.
Secure corporate sponsorships, philanthropic funding, and workforce program investments to support Skills programs.
Translate employer and community needs into partnership opportunities that drive program funding.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in partnership development, business development, sales, or fundraising
Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and close partnership agreements
Experience working with employers, workforce boards, corporations, or foundations
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
Ability to independently manage outreach, pipeline development, and deal closing
Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
Strong organizational and communication skills
