    As our Senior Manager of Content Strategy, you will lead the development and orchestration of our content narrative across channels and funnel stages This role will play a critical part in ensuring our narrative aligns with company messaging, supports an integrated marketing approach and drives meaningful engagement across the full buyer journey. A primary objective will be to strategically drive content that establishes R1 as a technology leader in healthcare as we build a new category: the revenue operating system.

    The ideal candidate is both a strategist and an operator, someone who can proactively develop and drive the narrative approach, connect messaging to execution, orchestrate content across channels and maximize the impact of our highest-value assets. This role will partner with key internal stakeholders to elevate executive positioning, including developing leadership narratives, POVs and signature stories for key moments. They will also collaborate closely across the Marketing team to build integrated content plans that support campaigns and business goals.

    Here’s what you will be responsible for as a Senior Manager of Content Strategy:

    Narrative & Messaging Leadership

    • Own and operationalize the company’s content narrative, ensuring alignment with core messaging pillars, positioning and strategic priorities
    • Translate high-level strategy into clear content frameworks, themes and storylines that resonate with target audiences
    • Drive content as a strategic value lever, using it to define and own the new category we are creating: the revenue operating system
    • Oversee thought leadership efforts to ensure consistency, clarity and differentiation across all major content initiatives

    Integrated Content Strategy & Cross-Functional Partnership

    • Partner with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, PR/Communications, Events and Digital teams to develop an editorial calendar and integrated content plans that support campaigns and business goals
    • Partner with key internal stakeholders to elevate executive positioning, including developing leadership narratives, POVs and signature stories for key moments
    • Work in conjunction with the team leader on primary industry research initiatives, including creating a content strategy that promotes the findings across channels and strengthens R1’s reputation as a thought leader
    • Ensure content strategies support all stages of the buyer journey, from awareness through decision and expansion
    • Influence campaign planning by identifying anchor content opportunities that can serve as the backbone for cross-channel activation
    • Serve as a central point of connection between strategy and execution across teams

    Content Asset Management & Scale

    • Own the content asset lifecycle from a strategic perspective, overseeing ideation and guiding reuse, while collaborating with team members on distribution and promotion
    • Analyze LLM search performance to identify content needs, including creation of new pieces and strategic revisions to existing content, to optimize R1’s presence and ranking
    • Drive a scalable content model by identifying appropriate derivative assets (e.g., briefs, blogs, infographics, sales enablement, webinars) from anchor pieces such as reports, whitepapers or research studies
    • Establish best practices for content reuse, optimization and ongoing value extraction

    Performance Optimization

    • Identify opportunities to improve content effectiveness to drive increased share of search and shift in brand perception from services-led to systems-led
    • Use performance insights to refine content strategy, asset mix and distribution approaches over time
    • Identify gaps in the content ecosystem and recommend strategic solutions

    Required Skills:

    • 8–12+ years of experience in content strategy, thought leadership or editorial leadership within a B2B marketing organization
    • Proven experience developing and scaling content narratives tied to business strategy and messaging pillars
    • Strong cross-functional leadership skills with experience influencing without direct authority
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex content portfolios and scale output through modular and derivative assets
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

    For this US-based position, the base pay range is $100,838.24 - $130,765.22 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 10.00%
