Job Summary
Henry Schein One, a leading dental SaaS company, has an exciting opportunity to bring strategic planning to life by leading high-profile internal initiatives and projects. This role will typically manage multiple concurrent, highly visible software projects primarily focused on product launches, operational process improvement, and the deployment of AI tools that deliver critical business value. You will lead, mobilize, and motivate cross-functional teams, execute project plans, remove roadblocks, and navigate complex project dependencies.
The successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication skills, along with advanced proficiency in Smartsheet (or similar project management tools). They should thrive in a fast-paced environment and bring a strategic mindset supported by strong business acumen. This role will also be responsible for providing regular progress updates to senior management and C-suite executives across all project initiatives.
What You Will Do
As a member of the Project Management Organization (PMO), you will drive and support delivery of critical initiatives.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective planning, execution, and coordination of complex strategic projects
Define and manage project scope, schedule, resources, dependencies and constraints while focusing on regular and timely delivery of milestones
Assign, track, and follow-up on various tasks while holding individuals accountable to commitments on all projects
Organize and lead project status meetings across several concurrent projects while keeping stakeholders regularly updated
Resolve obstacles by creating the appropriate modifications to the project plan to minimize risks and issues
Support the project sponsor in managing expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance
Define and manage a well-defined project management process, communication channels and champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to implement best practices
Ensure program goals and objectives are achieved within established time frames and budgetary parameters
Travel/Physical Demands
Travel typically less than 10% (2x per year for 2-4 days at a time)
Office environment with no special physical demands required
What You Will Have
Typically 5+ years of related professional experience, preferably in a SaaS/software environment
Experience working with multiple teams and driving cross-functional initiatives with various stakeholders and project dependencies
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to convey complex information to technical and non-technical audiences
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams
Strategic mindset for goal identification and task prioritization
Ability to analyze problems, think critically, and make informed decisions
Knowledge of technology platforms and software implementation
Strong relationship-building and management skills
Negotiation and influencing abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment with changing priorities
Nice to Haves
Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Business Administration
PMP, Lean Six Sigma or Agile Certified
Experience handling enterprise and key strategic projects
Experience implementing PMO practices and standards
The posted range for this position is $95,000-$115,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a bonus target not reflected in the range.
