Pay comes directly from each employer posting. Hourly, annual and contract terms need separate comparison. Guardian’s travel requirement and the unstated pay periods remain explicit questions for recruiting.

    Questions to settle before applying

Can a new graduate get one of these jobs?

All five examples ask for prior clinical or specialty experience. If you are early in your career, read the minimum requirements before investing time in an application. An entry-level search label alone does not establish that a role accepts new graduates.

Does remote mean I can work from anywhere?

These examples are US-based. Residence, licensure, schedule, and travel are separate questions. A posting asking for a compact license does not by itself tell you every state where the employer can hire. Confirm your home location directly with recruiting.

How should I compare the pay?

Match the pay period, expected hours, employment arrangement, and bonus terms first. For a part-time hourly offer, ask about guaranteed hours and benefits. Keep base pay separate from incentives and avoid treating a listing maximum as an expected offer. Compare hourly rates and contract offers in our RN pay guide.

Which search terms should I try?

Start with the work you want to do: clinical denials, nurse author, registered nurse, RN supervisor, or RN clinical consultant. Compare the resulting descriptions with your clinical background and preferred level of patient contact.

How we selected and checked these examples

We used Remote Source inventory to identify candidates, then reviewed the linked employer pages for duties, RN requirements, location, compensation, and an application path. This fixed September 2026 edition includes five career-path examples and a six-employer comparison. Across both sections, nine distinct postings from eight employers illustrate different requirements. Sources were reviewed on September 12, 2026, using US Eastern time. We selected examples for useful differences in eligibility and work arrangements; the selection provides no employer ranking or estimate of the wider market.

We retain uncertainties where the source is inconsistent or incomplete. Guardian includes occasional travel. Pay is shown in the employer’s stated units, with cents retained where published. Guardian and Alignment pay ranges stay unannualized because their postings omit the period. Charlie Health’s contractor rate is identified separately from employee pay. Openings can close or change after review. Follow the source link before applying.
