    About the Physician Role

We're hiring for a Remote Telemedicine Physician to join Curai Health's growing clinical care team. In this fully remote role, you'll deliver high-quality, patient-centered, virtual-first primary care to patients across the United States through video visits, live chat, and secure messaging — all supported by Curai's advanced AI-powered clinical technology and proprietary electronic medical records (EMR) system. If you're a physician who's passionate about expanding access to care and excited about practicing at the intersection of medicine and technology, we'd love to hear from you.

    What You'll Do
In this role, you'll dedicate at least 36 patient contact hours per week to providing high-quality, empathetic treatment to primary care patients in a virtual care setting — including text-based, phone, and video visits. Your clinical accountabilities will include but are not limited to:
  1. Conducting comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients across various ages and backgrounds
  2. Managing and coordinating care for chronic conditions
  3. Providing preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to promote holistic well-being
  4. Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and lab results
  5. Prescribing medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
  6. Handling referrals and prior authorizations
  7. Managing scheduling and follow-up outreach
  8. Completing administrative tasks including but not limited to:
  9. Accurately and thoroughly documenting tasks and communications in the electronic medical record (EMR)
  10. Completing compliance, CME, and licensing tasks in a timely manner
  11. Maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge and processes, including EMR platform updates, through meetings, trainings, or other means
  12. Participating in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives
  13. Meeting or exceeding established performance standards related to patient satisfaction, encounter documentation, response time, clinical quality metrics, and productivity benchmarks as defined by organizational goals
  14. Serving as a collaborating physician for assigned Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight, chart review, care consultation, and mentorship consistent with applicable state laws and internal collaboration agreements, including video visits as needed
  15. Maintaining compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards
  16. Taking on other duties as assigned
  17. What You'll Bring
  18. An MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  19. A current, unrestricted license to practice medicine with active board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  20. At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency; telehealth experience strongly preferred
  21. Active medical licenses in at least one of the following states: CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses
  22. Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states is strongly preferred
  23. Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
  24. Availability to work weekends and assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule
  25. A solid understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements related to physician collaboration and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers
  26. The ability to work independently while managing a high volume of patient interactions through video and chat
  27. Comfort navigating telehealth platforms and EMR systems, with adaptability to evolving technology including AI-driven tools and digital platforms
  28. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage your time effectively in a remote work environment; reliable high-speed internet access is required
  29. Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient engagement skills
  30. Willingness to be part of a group medical practice
  31. A growth and learning mindset
